Timothy Jay Smith

Author, playwright, screenwriter and world traveler Timothy Jay Smith has been called “literary dynamite” by Kirkus Reviews and won the 2008 Paris Prize for Fiction for his novel A Vision of Angels. He is also the founder of the Smith Prize for Political Theater, which encourages emerging playwrights to dramatize the pressing issues of our times, and provides an incentive for theaters to produce their plays. Aspiring playwrights – and anyone else interested in books of our time – should visit his site.
