We are convinced that a big part of the digital world’s appeal is that the human brain likes to see colored lights move. And furthermore, that it directly tickles our neurological pleasure centers when our own actions make those colored lights move. That’s why we take every (logical, necessary) opportunity to enhance interactivity through animation, through beautifully designed slideshows, or interactive rollovers, or short animated films. These things enhance storytelling, create intimacy through interactivity, and stimulate our lizard brains – the digital trifecta.
