GET Accessible

GET Accessible is a consultancy that specializes in what is called “digital accessibility” – which is making electronic media usable by people with disabilities. We had to learn a lot about web accessibility just to do the project (we did the site design, wrote the copy, and did the infographics) and it’s a fascinating field. If you set up a site correctly from the get-go, it’s very little work to make sure that it can by used effectively by the blind and the deaf and the motor impaired. Considering about 1 in 5 Americans has some kind of disability, it’s worth the effort.
